About
'No algorithm is going to make you feel, no algorithm is going to show you the way of life. Except for the space in-between your eyes and your heart.'
Alice Tay began her photographic journey during university days with a trusted Minolta SLR. She made the digital switch in 2009---and that was when her adventure down the rabbit hole began. Since then, she has shadowed a renown photographer for Channel News Asia’s Scene City – Singapore Living Spaces, which received acclamation at New York Festival's International Television and Film Awards. She opened her registers to fashion portraits in 2010, and since then, discovered the joy of conceptualizing looks that unveil the essence of her subjects. She periodically partakes in Objectifs’ photography courses and also volunteers at the Singapore International Photographic Festival 2010. She occasionally writes for Featureshoot and Invisible Ph t graphers Asia amongst other publications; where her aim is to showcase photographers from Asia. She recently participated in Last Outfit for Lien Foundation. She is currently busy with PhotoVoice SG as a photographer-mentor.
Every so often, the rabbit whispers---and she takes off to explore the world of street and travel photography.
